Everything's Art and Pennington Park is hosting Dadeville's 5th Annual "Everything's Art in the Park" (AITP) on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, from 9:30am - 3pm in Pennington Park located at 121 N. Spring St, Dadeville. AITP is known for quality and original hand-made creations to include crafts, jewelry, and art work. The event will feature juried original oil, watercolor, acrylic art, crafts created by local and regional artists, live music and food vendors. Mark your calendars for May 18th's AITP. Friendly, leashed pets are welcome and please clean up after your pet. Vendor applications can be obtained from Everything's Art by sending an email to everythingsartguild14@gmail.com. or calling 770-328-2094. Vendor applications are due no later than May 3rd, 2024. Pennington Park will observe Memorial Day 2024 on Monday, May 20th through Monday, May 27th, 2024. Pennington Park will display over 2000 American Flags in honor of those former military members who have passed. Additionally, memorial markers will be placed to recognize deceased veterans by name, rank and service component regardless of length of service. If you would like a marker placed in Pennington Park to honor your military loved one (and his/her deceased spouse) at no cost to you, please call/text 334-233-9852 or email kppfitzner@gmail.com with the individual's name, rank and branch of service. Markers are limited so early reservations are encouraged.

Pennington Park's 2024 Farmers Marketplace dates are now on the calendar! The Markets are scheduled for Sundays, June 9th/23rd and July 7th/21st from 11:30am - 3:30pm. in Dadeville's Pennington Park, 121 N. Spring St. The Marketplace is a producers-only market that provides high-quality and home-grown produce/homemade goods. Food trucks and live music is scheduled during each market. Booth spaces are free but limited. Vendors interested in participating should email klpfitzner@gmail.com or call 334-233-9851 to request an application. Return the application and attach a copy of your Grower's Permit and/or Cottage Food License as appropriate. You will be sent a copy of the Market's Rules/Instructions and your participation confirmed upon receipt of your application. We look forward to seeing you there!

Boats decorated with flags with an Independence Day theme parade from Kowaliga Marina to Childrens Harbor. Judging takes place and awards are given for the most decorated boats in different categories.

Fireworks at dark in the Kowaliga Bay area of Lake Martin. This annual event is one of the best fireworks shows in the southeast.
